The Department of Process Analytics examines and develops methods and techniques for monitoring and control of food and biotechnological processes, focusing on system theoretic concepts for model- and data-based approaches. Besides process specific studies general purpose methodological approaches for nonlinear and distributed parameter systems are developed and tested in different application scenarios.
The Technical Facility for Cereal Technology associated to the department is ideally equipped to combine basic and application-oriented research, enabling the transfer of academic knowledge to innovative products.
